Less tax for Landlords
Has anyone used them on this forum?
I had a meeting with them last week.
All sounds very good.
Next stage is to pay my £3,000.
Then another £15,000 for all the legal work etc
Then a monthly fee for doing the accounts. It’s a lot of money ?
So does it work ?
Any one use them ?
No Capital Gains
I had a meeting with them quite a few years ago. I was really impressed.
I got a follow up email from Tony to thank me for my time, and to summarize our discussions and how we could move forward. Only it wasn't a summary after all but a stock email that I imagine all the clients got. The exact same email sent to every client that he sees.
This alone told me everything I needed to know. If I'm going to be spending that kind of money on a scheme then I wanted to know that they understand my situation and how they could help - highlighting the benefits and drawbacks of such a scheme. If I'm going to simply get a stock email - like a cookie cutter solution - then it wasn't something I would be keen to explore.
Out of interest, what follow up did you get from Tony?
Suggest you attend one of their "open days" where you will get the opportunity to meet with some of their existing clients along with prospects such as yourself - I have had a chat with a couple of their existing clients who have been with them for a number of years (enough to file a couple of returns) and it seems to be working for them - (one chap was a chartered accountant himself).
Agree - its a lot of money to part with. People with wealthy portfolios perhaps can justify the ROI.
I attended an evening event. I met a number of existing clients and also people that were interested in finding out more. There was educational content and networking. I am happy to confirm that there was nothing "staged" about it.

ive attended too (*Moderator note: Rest of comment removed*).
That could be a possibility (although having a chat with 2 of their clients I didn't walk away with that feeling AT ALL) - at the end of the day, one can look at it with an openmind, do your due diligence and decide objectivlely OR if you have already decided that its a "scam" then you are most likely wasting your time and theirs....
As for why existing clients would attend - to me it looked like a good social gathering - an opportunity to network with others in the property business, new potential business partners, learn something new from the content that they shared. I thought it was a good setting. If I was a client of theirs, I wouldn't mind attending. Even NOT as a client - if I was invited to their event again - I would consider going. Each to their own.
