    Hi Mark,

    Interesting webinar - thanks for posting.

    I am staggered at the the fee's you can charge per packaged deal, especially within M25 and South East! Clearly good demand for good deals and I guess that reflects the relative difficulty (i.e. time and expense) of securing deals within those areas.

    Food for thought.

    Exactly right - I get sent around 100 deals a week, I try to look at them all but, most of them end up in the bin because they are:

    1. wrongly valued
    2. of no immediate commercial value
    3. a spreadsheet peddler
    4. need an extraordinary amount of work to make profit
    5. dubious origin
    6. a dreamer

    Instead of 'hoping' for BMV, which is what most clients ask for, think of making money through the deal whilst you're getting the client (vendor) out of a sticky situation.

    There is an art to spotting where the money is in a deal without resorting to 'haggling' for a discount. The 'hagglers' often leave a deal early because they haven't got the skill.

    If I get a chance (and there's an audience) I may do a webinar on 'Blank Canvas Refurbs' which is one of my strategies that cost hardly anything to do, not a great deal of risk and everyone in the chain, vendors, lawyers, agents, clients will love you for doing.

    I've only done a few but, they are a brilliant way to profit in a deal if you can spot them and play them right.

    Onwards and upwards - hope no one minded that there was a pitch at the end of the webinar - there's nothing to sell here but, webinars are free to attend but cost to put on so there's normally an offer on them.
