    Meters - flats

Looking at purchase a small block of flats but the building only has a few gas and elec meters so current landlord/owner includes bills?!

I don't want to follow with this; what are my options?

Believe lengthy process to get elec and gas board out to split meters/supply.

    Also, what if unmetered water?

The quickest most cost effective option would be to install sub meters if the current wiring will allow, this splits the supply and the tenant pays you through your meter and you pay whole bill. The best option for this is the meter pay route they can also now meter gas, but this would depend if the incoming main is big enough to run more than 2 boilers gas hobs etc in order to.be able to sub meter Getting individual supply's installed would be very costly and take time.

The water is different the water supplier should bill each unit on there eatable value if they are sep branded or they will try and fit meters foc if the plumbing allows.
