    Orbit

Anyone else had experience of Orbit? One of my flats is in a block owned by Orbit. Long story short, I've found them to be pretty useless. Any problems reported either take ages (months) to be actioned, if at all - much of the time nothing happens and reports are ignored. The block has an ongoing drugs problem, windows are boarded up with wood and Sitex, costing me much money in voids and council tax. I and the letting agent cannot get in as they have changed the code lock and have failed to issue new fobs, despite numerous requests.

Now they have the cheek to send me a letter wanting an immediate increase of 75% on the management fees!

Am I alone here or have others had similar experiences with Orbit?

Of course. In the past. there's no point now. Lost count of the number of phone calls, emails, empty promises, ignored emails... Given up wasting my time now. Have just sent a letter of complaint to the head honcho, briefly outlining some of the issues, and politely suggesting that the organisation needs a boot up its backside! Will be interesting to see the reply, assuming they can be bothered. Have also sent them their latest bill back.
