    OT: Interest Only Resi Mortgage

    Hello

Do such things exist anymore for 85% LTVs? Even on a part and part basis?

    Thank you

    Hi Rob,

Not everyone has access to every product.

That's why I believe it's always best to start with your circumstances first, and then seek a product that fits your financial position, which includes your credit rating, income, etc.

If you visit our on-line mortgage sourcing tool - which also includes residential mortgages - and fill in 3 fields, you will find the answer to your question. Smile

Select the "residential" box and "interest only" box and voila!

    Hope that helps?

Good question and as Vanessa has suggested it really does depend on your circumstances.

Its a bit like applying for the job of a brain surgeon. Anyone can apply but there will be criteria you will have to fulfil before you even get an interview. Very few of us would apply for a role we have no hope of getting.

There is nothing more frustrating than clients chasing a product that they are not eligible for and it taking time to find that out. Time that is wasted.

The best thing to do is sit down with a financial adviser and discuss your circumstances before you do anything else. I very often find that the solution/plan we come up with is different to the one first thought. The "best" option is regularly something else.

What I have access to is a huge number of lenders with varying criteria and appetite for certain types of lending. I can find the very best solution that suits your own circumstances. It might well be that your plans dont suit a part and part facility. Until your current and future position is assessed we just dont know.

The financial regulator, the ‘Financial Conduct Authority’ designates that there are two different types of financial advisers, ‘independent’ and ‘restricted’. The status of an adviser firm will affect the type of advice that is given. A restricted adviser firm can only recommend certain products or product providers, whereas an independent adviser firm, such as Optimum, is able to consider and recommend all types of retail investment products and/or providers that could best meet clients needs and objectives. Optimum Independent Financial Advisers offers genuine unbiased and unrestricted advice.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
