Good timing for this event as ...Newly released data from specialist lender, Precise Mortgages, has revealed that over a fifth of landlords are planning to expand their portfolio with the addition of an HMO (Houses in Multiple Occupation).

Are they any part of a redress scheme? Seems to have dissolved over 10 businesses strange
This company does not need to be part of a redress scheme. They do not source deals for people.

This sounds like sourcing to me
They are not introducing a buyer to a seller (the definition of a deal sourcer/estate agent), just signposting to suitable locations and potential properties, therefore they are not property sourcers.
My wife, daughter and I joined Platinum Property Partners in 2012 and have stayed on as alumni beyond the contract period. They provide ongoing advice and support. They do not source deals but they do advise how to choose the right property and, as important, avoid the wrong ones. They provide advice on refurbishing properties and maximising income. They also assist with recommendations of brokers, accountants and lawyers.
There is a substantial cost to join and substantial franchise fees but we have no regrets. We would not have built up the business we now have if we had not joined PPP.
They offer the support of a network of 200 other HMO landlords. If any BTL landlords are thinking of acquiring HMOs be aware that (a) they are much more management-intensive and (b) there are a lot of additional rules and regulations that landlords have to comply with and the consequences of mistakes can be serious.
