    Property Assets

Looking to invest and wanted some feedback on a company called Property Assets and Sean Bennett. Has anyone had any dealings with them as they offer a 25% ROI within 10 14 weeks?

    Regards

There have been several threads on here about that company; use the search facility and you will find them.

The long one had to be removed due to legal issues.

    Hi Paul ,

As stated above, the original post about PA was deleted following threats of litigation from their solicitors.

So does anyone have any experience of working with them - would be good to get some 1st hand views.

    Hi Paul,

In investment, anything offering high returns is likely to be higher risk.

I produced a 5 minute due diligence regime to help people research any company they are thinking of doing business with.

I suggest you take 5 minutes to do it and draw your own conclusions from factual research.

Many people are on affiliate commissions with companies offering investments, and they will come onto forums such as PT and give glowing reviews of how much money they are making.

As I have stated only recently, one of the biggest dangers to novice investors is "someone else's figures".

It is your money, so I urge you to do your own due diligence and not be swayed by other people either way.

    Hi Paul,

I came across Property Assets over a year ago referred to me by a property person who emails me from time to time and posts on Facebook. She recently sent an email out to say she has done several deals with them and they've worked well. So I'm going to ask her for more detail about them.

I think 25% is misleading. 12.5% is the minimum return and that is you get £2,500 of your original investment back on top of the capital amount of £20,000 if the property is not sold within the time limit of around 12 weeks. Then you move on to the next JV deal. If the property is sold within the time limit or thereabouts, you get 50% of the profit on the refurbished property. It costs £4,000 per annum for membership and you can do about 4 deals a year within those timeframes.

I spoke to Jonathan only yesterday in fact but I am still a little uncertain about it all as it's a lot of money to part with up front but if you get a return in 12 weeks that's good. So I am not either recommending or warning - just stating. I think as someone said, you have to do your due diligence. I find it strange that neither of their names appears on their website. I am a little concerned about the post regarding their solicitors (litigation) which was removed.

So I too would be interested to know of anyone else who has dealt with Property Assets and done some good deals with them. It sounds very streamlined but I'm always sceptical about anything which sounds too easy! I only know of one person who has made some money and I believe I can trust her but it would be good to know of anyone else who has a success story with Property Assets.

Zubes - I'm sorry you had that experience and lost your deposit. Did you get a receipt or anything? Why not try ringing Jonathan? I have had my doubts but they were recommended by someone respected in the property world.

I was contacted by Jonathan prior to going on holiday and he said he had transferred £3,000 to the solicitors to 'lock' my position. I had spoken to him a couple of days before and he said something about this but he didn't ask me for anything at that time so I think I must have agreed to it.

I said I would contact him on my return from holiday but I haven't in the end because something doesn't feel right especially having read your thread. It put me off that someone said a thread had to be removed because their solicitors were coming down heavy-handed. £20k plus £4,000 annual fee is a lot of money to put down at the outset.

The person who recommended them seems to have done ok but I'm not very confident about handing so much money over. Good Luck!
