    Property bee and firefox

As some may know propertybee doesnt work with firefox 57 which i need to use for a work package and can not roll back to version 56

Anyone use property tracker on chrome or can suggest an alternative?

I had the same problem a couple of days ago. Mozilla allow you to download an older version from this page which supports Property Bee without issues.

    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ins...us-version

When you have the 'old' version working, change the Firefox update settings to 'never check for updates', so it won't automatically try to update to the new version again.

    Hope this helps. Steve

I use an older version of firefox.  I have found the trick is to set it to ask me before it updates itself, otherwise it does it automatically.  Very frustrating as property bee is awesome.

I would suggest downloading the Waterfox browser, its a different version to the open source Firefox. You can then install property bee to waterfox and it runs as before.

I think the data on property bee is going to get less accurate as fewer people are using it.  Does anyone use the Chrome version Property Tracker, or have any other suggestions?

Property Tracker only has the prices and dates but doesn't have anything else as far as I can see.  It is such a shame as I love PB!

It is unfortunate, However firefox's latest update to 57 has made significant changes in the way extensions and ad-ons work, mainly to tighten up on security. This in turn has made the previous version of Property Bee defunct, and the developer would have to spend a lot of time rewriting the code to do so, and this will be dependent on its value to the developer.

Well if anyone gets stuck I have found something that assists, though not as much a property bee.

If you find the property you're interested in on Zoopla, then on the right hand side of the page (scroll down) to listing history it gives details such as when listed, price drops, last sale price, etc.
