  • Rent-to-Rent

    R2R and LHA

This appears to be advertising for R2R with the properties then being let to the local authority.

    Thoughts?

I have just spent 8 months evicting a non paying tenant ... he kept windows curtains and blinds closed 24/7 and has caused £3,850.00 of damage and rubbish removal .

He moved to a flat next to mine ... let by Let in Birmingham ... the city council letting private rentals on behalf of private landlords , placing council tenants in private rental properties .. they of course charge the landlord to manage .

All a long this low life has taken council advice and hung in to the bitter end costing me a fortune .

I would never recommend handing over a valuable property asset to a local council .

There is now another landlord oblivious to the fact that this person is in arrears and has caused so much damage over a 12 month residence  ... I was not approached at all by the council to give him or his girl friend named on the agreement a reference .

Personally I would avoid ... best of luck .
