Rant Alert! Who should get the landlord vote?

The various policies of political parties is one of the enduring trending topics on Property Tribes.

The Conservatives now have a 5 year record of hammering landlords and Labour/Corbyn has even more disastrous policies up his sleeve.

So, who better to discuss this with than investment commentator and Chairman of the Elite Investor Club, Graham Rowan?

Property Tribes caught up with Graham earlier this week and allowed him to let rip! Please share your thoughts on the housing policies of the various political parties.

As a fan of Graham, its good to see him being interviewed on PT.

I'll be settled in Wales by the time of the next election and will possibly have a different viewpoint, as may Scottish and Irish voters.

I hope there is no such thing as a 'landlord vote'. As much as we all share an interest in property. There are much bigger topics at stake. Employment, Education, Healthcare, Employment Rights, Welfare, Taxes, Trade the Environment etc..

Let's go vote for the party who are going to make the country a better place overall.

Don't read too much into the title ... not sure if you watched the video, but it was couched far more around who business people should vote for as business people are the economic engine of the country ... and yes, we should all consider who is going to be the best for the future of our wonderful country!

Very Wise - I dont vote on one issue. I'd Vote for anyone if they are on the right track.
My problem is Im not sure any of them are...

Exactly Mr PAYE. I voted Labour in 2015 despite some less than positive landlord policies. I did it as I looked at the bigger picture.

The Tories won and we all know what happened a couple of months later...

Have to wait until after EU elections for Polices to be announced however given that Nigel is Landlord friendly & Richard is a Property Investor I think we can predict that they would be very towards Landlords & Businesses.

Over a quarter of Conservative MPs are landlords, yet the Conservatives are no longer considered landlord friendly.

You are missing a major difference - most of the MPs own there BTL investments without borrowing - as do the super rich

So their world is very different from most tribes members Gary.
