Re finance a Freehold with 1 remaining unit

    Hi,

New to Property Tribes, as recommended by TheAdvisory. Looking for suggestions as to who best to approach to re finance my little portfolio.

I am looking to re finance my Freehold Building that has 3 individual units. 2 sold off on new 125 year leases the remaining unit I have kept for own buy to let as part of retirement fund. There is no lease been created on the remaining unit as I don't want to sell it, at least not for some while, if ever.

I believe what I have got left is considered a MUFD, however I am getting very mixed ideas from fellow investors as to how this current set up is viewed when re financing.

I am wanting to look at alternative financing away from existing VERY poor service mortgage provider I currently have. Main stream High Street bank on a Commercial Mortgage. They are about as helpful as a chocolate teapot at best, sadly.

Suggestions please. I have equity of just over 30%. Rental yield currently 5%

Thanks in anticipation of advice and assistance.
