Review - John Howard Property Seminar 7/09/19

I just finished attending John Howard's Property Developing and Investing Seminar in London, so I thought I'd share my experience of it.

The amount of knowledge and insight that I came out of the workshop with at the end of the day makes the £247 price tag an absolute steal.

What John teaches are not theoretical ideas, strategies or approaches, but real-world tips and tricks that could only have come from having spent 40 years in the game. It's a little bit like the difference between getting advice from someone who has done a degree and passed an exam in a given field, versus someone who has actually spent their life doing it.  John only shares suggestions that are extremely practical and that can be taken and implemented immediately.

Because at one time or another John has owned Estate Agencies, Auction Houses and Letting Agencies what you get is a 360 degree holistic view of the Industry and how it all fits together.

We covered everything form selecting the right strategy for you, to putting the deal together and addressing common pitfalls as well as many practical tips on how make things run smoother and more efficient. In the last hour we took a step back and looked at the bigger picture of the property market in the UK.

Finally John was very generous and critiqued a couple of live deals that students were currently working on as well as offering to help out where possible with any issues they were having.

It was a really good day out,  and a great opportunity to Network with like minded property enthusiasts.

I found it to be money extremely well invested and am confident it will pay for itself over and over again into the future.

    Well worth it.

Thanks for sharing. I went the free one day property fast track hosted by Paul Preston. It was a completely waste of time.

All he’s been talking about were the success stories of himself and his students, nothing concrete. It was really disappointing. The whole time I felt like he was just trying to sell us his training course, the price started from £2700 than reduce to £1600 at the end of the day.

I’d rather spend some money to learn some real tips to n the property.

Could you give us an example of one of his tips please so that I can make a judgement

Just sound like another plug to be honest

    Thanks

Always looking for advice and idea's to better myself

    Becky.

To be honest, I'm not incentivised to write a review, nobody asked me to. I just saw it as good value and want to share.

But I'm not going to just divulge Johns content that I paid for just to satisfy your skepticism.

Apart from the fact he provides a money back guarantee if you're not satisfied, I suggest if you're interested, check him out. If not interested, don't.

    Hi,

I was all set to go to this and decided not to book as I saw on another thread John was concerned about a Labour Government and mentioned he would pull his UK investments in the UK.

Feel I should have gone now and asked him directly.

I can assure you if Corbyn gets in power anybody with more than one house will be seriously taxed - highest rate of tax will probably end up at 80% which stifles any ambition whatsoever I for one will probably cut back completely on my investment and trading in the UK

Good morning Jamie thank you very much for your kind review it was unexpected but very welcome.

It’s always great to get feedback to see how you could improve on for the next time as you said I basically talk about my experiences and what I’ve done right and what I’ve got wrong and how to do what we all want to do which is buy property at the right price, make money and either rent it or sell it on.

With regards to my comment regarding Labour I think I was asked a question what would happen if Labour get in. They will definitely tax everyone a lot higher - that’s exactly what every Labour government does.

However, in my seminar, I do explain how to get out of tricky and difficult situations which might be useful - should  that happen .

I shall look forward to my next seminars in Norwich, London and Manchester .

    Hi JamieH

I am new to PT and this is my first post so please bear with me

I really would like to book for the next seminar on the 16th Sep in Norwich.

Would it be possible to describe how the day is panned out as in what he teaches

I am after guidance on which strategy and how best to go about it. I am looking at purchasing a commercial/ mixed use as my first BTL and there are so many conflicting information out there which is making it so confusing and difficulty, just hoping I will get the right info from someone who's been in the game for 40 years.

    Much appreciated
