    Yes, it still applies, but the penalty is a lot lighter - £56 for the first offence.

    Al the other stuff still applies - it has to be in England, it has to be their main home, there can be a statutory excuse against penalty, etc, etc.

    Right to rent checks as you know have to be carried out by landlords. I now put in a bill each time to the Home Office for work don't on therehalf. W
