I am like 99% certain no stamp duty is needed to be paid here.

My mum was going to gift me and my brother a house which we planned on remortgaging to move into business. No stamp duty was payable as no money was exchanged for the house. Funny thing is when we went to do the transfer we already owned half of it in a trust we didnt know of, funny world.
