    Really?

Shelter don't care about an individual LL's views any more than any other Govt. funded group.

    Done.

My answers were honest but I wasn't sure what the motivation for the survey on Shelter's part is.  Is there some sort of hidden agenda?

    Definitely there's a hidden agenda.

Questions 6, 7 and 8, plus 11 & 12 definitely have some answers in there that could aid/abet LL's and they'll jump all over them.

    eg.

    6. What were your motivations for becoming a landlord? (please tick all that apply)
As an alternative to a pension (i.e. as an investment for the future)
    For the regular rental income
    To provide homes for people
It was accidental (i.e. I couldn't sell my property)
    Don't recall
    Other

Realistically, how many LL's are going to state the bolded answer is one of their main reasons? Only those into philanthropy.
Options 1 and 2 above it are far more likely. But they can get all of the top 3 options above from most LL's I'm sure.

It would be more interesting to hear why Shelter don't actually currently, never have, and never apparently plan on actually providing any!

I ticked that one! Of course I want to provide homes for people. It's a pleasure.
