Slough named as top refurb hotspot in UK

    • In the capital, the London borough of Redbridge takes the top slot
    • The research was carried out by property website Zoopla

But such homes can be hard to come by, so new research by property website Zoopla has identified the areas where there is most likely to be a renovation project for sale.

Top of the list is Slough, in Berkshire, where properties are more than three times as likely to be in need of renovation as in the rest of Britain.
