  • Property-a-holics

    Something went pop!

I've placed this in Property-a-holics as I'm currently not a landlord and I don't feel distressed.

Most of us have a few property issues to overcome, I've had my fair share and have posted them previously. I joined Property Tribes 2 years ago and my rate of learning has been astounding. Like many, I had a plan and I waited to put in place, it has evolved considerably, but it is fundamentally the same plan. I should have started 6 months ago, but I am still waiting due to circumstances beyond my control.

Depending on where I take my starting point, I am now entering my 6th or 8th year of waiting. I am full of physical energy, but have finally run out of patience. I have 2 part time contracts, care worker and support worker, I've given notice on both. I am in the process of packing my personal belongings. I have someone waiting to move into my current home. I have said goodbye to many friends.

I am a rational thinker and not usually swayed by emotions, but sometimes I have to listen to my gut feel, its served me well. One way or another, 2019 will be a significant year, I hope to report back with some success!

All the best with it Gary. Maybe give me a shout when you come to South Wales (if near Cardiff) and we can meet up for a coffee to throw ideas off of each other.

You have taken decisive action Gary.  Bravo!  Generally in life, if you make a commitment to something and stay true to it and stick to it, then you will make a success of it.

Enjoy the adventure.  Make every day a "learning" day.  Take sustained and intelligent action every day, even if it is just something small.

Keep your eye on the prize!

Let us know how you get on.  Exciting times ahead.  In order to reach new lands, we have to lose sight of the shore.

All the luck in the world to you.

Good luck Gary. Most of us would do better if we were more willing to "give it a go". You are about to do just that and it will be great to receive updates.
