Suggestions needed to move more into property

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice if possible please.

I currently have 4 BTL properties providing a nice bit of monthly income alongside my current full time job. However being a lorry driver isn't the most inspiring job that makes me want to jump out of bed at 20 past 5 every morning, add to that the 50 hour plus weeks and the 90 minute daily commute it leaves me drained and no time in the evenings to renovate the next project which just leaves the weekends to cram everything in, including spending time with the other half.

I really am interested in property and when I build up a nice chunk of money I hope to start building properties from scratch but before I do this there is so much I need to learn about the whole planning application process and what to look out for when buying appropriate land.

My current BTL property income does take the stress off of any employment income so I would be prepared to take a pay cut to do something I'm more interested in and as I'm still quite young I feel this is a good time to start a new chapter and continue learning.

Therefore can anyone suggest any jobs that may be suitable? I've thought about becoming an estate agent and also wanted to apply for a trainee planning officer position that came up with my local council but it required me to have a university degree.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks.
