  • Property Training/Mentoring

    TDP training for Kent landlords

    • Last chance for Kent landlords and letting agents to sign-up for specialist course on avoiding tenancy deposit disputes.
    • Tenancy deposit protection specialist, TDS, brings its specialist course to Canterbury on 20th March 2019.

The country’s leading tenancy deposit protection scheme, TDS, will be visiting Canterbury on 20th March to host a workshop designed to give landlords and property professionals training in tenancy deposit protection and associated disputes.

Part of TDS Academy’s national programme of workshops, the Foundation Course is a full-day programme focusing on the key points of tenancy deposit protection.

Attendees will be guided through the lifecycle of a deposit, from registration and repayment through to the alternative dispute registration process. The training will also cover and the requirements for evidence where disputes arise.

The event will be hosted by Michael Morgan, Director of Dispute Resolution at TDS. Michael said: “As well as protecting tenancy deposits, TDS is committed to providing guidance and improving standards in the private rented sector. This course will help landlords and agents in Kent provide a higher quality service to their tenants and better protect their own investments.

“Many landlords and letting agents still make errors at the beginning of tenancies that have a knock-on effect when it comes to recouping rent arrears or damage deductions at the end of the lease agreement. These can be easily avoided and our courses aim to educate attendees on the pitfalls and how best to prevent them.”
