Excellent....thanks for the list; always good to see what books other folk recommend; have just printed the list off for future reference.

Think I have read about 40% of the titles and have some of the other titles still to read; coming from - and still in - the world of books I love to have lots of them around me and like to hear what other people consider as 'good reads'.

    Merry Christmas to everyone.........

It is worth googling the authors before spending your money as a few have been outed as charlatans. Even these are worth a read but only with the knowledge that much of the info is at best misleading and at worst illegal. The information here on PT and other forums is much more likely to be more helpful not to mention up to date - just without all the motivational claptrap.

Which ones are those whose authors are charlatans?

Just adding another recommendation from elsehwere on the forum:

'Only The Paranoid Survive' by Andrew S Grove, President and CEO of Intel

Just saw this and it reminded me of this important resource:

That's a big list, and could do with updating, and also differentiating. I've read some of the books on the list, and some are excellent, and others, sad to say, not worth spending money on. I's like to suggest 2 initiatives:

    A) A Best in Class Award: Best for Beginers, Best Property, Best Organisation, Best Financial .....

    B) A Top Ten
