    Water pipe leak

    Hi Guys,

Not sure if this is the best place for this query but any advice would be helpful.

A burst pipe caused damage in one of my flats, causing the ceiling to leak and cosmetic damage too. The pipe is a communal pipe for the flat and is not managed by us. The pipe owner has admitted leak due to wear and tear and not tenant negligence. I have tried to claim this through our managing agent and their insurance but are refusing to pay as they believe it does not constitute them paying out despite the water supplier confirming it was their issue.

I have exhausted all options and unsure what I should do next.

And advice of steps I could take out would be grateful.

    Thanks,

    Anuj
