    Wimpey No Fines Construction

Have just viewed a property of this construction. It is non-standard construction but can't really find anything too negative about it. I know that the number of lenders will be restricted. I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were and if anyone could give advice re which lenders to approach with this type of property.

I have three properties which are wimpey no-vines construction. My lenders are TMW and the Chelsea. A problem which can occur with concrete construction is damp and condensation, However, in the last year in my area for approx. £2,000 you can have external insulation put on the outside of the properties which keeps tenants heating bills down and solves damp problems. Have a chat with your local authority regarding grants/ green deal etc or what ever they call it now.

These grants have now come to an end, the grant was for maximum of £3,750 but not to exceed 75% of the total cost (I think) however all this got cancelled in the eco funding/green deal and we are not sure if they will return

Thanks for your replies. No sign of any damp during the viewing. Also no sign of exterior cladding on any other local properties so might be worth a punt.
